available throughout the UK and beyond...
Hi, I’m Nikkala Faye Ades, the photographer behind Faye Amare Photography, I’m a Norwich & Norfolk wedding photographer but I cover weddings throughout the UK and beyond. I consider my photographic style to be creative, candid and emotive with a light fresh and timeless feel. I love capturing moments as they happen without much interference. This allows your day to flow as naturally and uninterrupted as possible, which allows me to capture the true essence of your big day.
I offer creative candid and emotive wedding photography where capturing the moment as it happens is of the utmost importance. I’ll document your day as naturally and unobtrusively as possible. I strongly believe getting the shot does not involve intruding on people’s personal space and find capturing moments from afar, sometimes without the knowledge of the individual is how great candids are made. However, this does not mean I don’t get involved in the important parts where a little guidance is needed and I’m more than happy to help. I highly value offering a fun and friendly client experience that will effortlessly blend into your big day. I have thoughtfully hand-selected all my suppliers for their quality and sustainability; both of which I value greatly, this means I deliver the best products to you with added benefits to our planet.
"Nikkala was amazing! She did so much preparation before our wedding and listened to exactly what we wanted. We have beautiful pictures and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends!"

My career as a photographer started whilst at college, studying an HND in Graphic Design back in 2010, I had gained previous experience of the photographic industry whilst exploring a very short stint in front of the camera, which I enjoyed. However, the urge to create the art myself became irresistible and I just knew I had to try it out. I picked up my first camera a Nikon D40 and this is where my dream of being a photographer began. I started photographing more for my college projects and local models to practice and perfect my work. At this point, I knew I had to start learning more about the technical side of photography, so I pushed my ideas in college and watched countless Youtube videos whilst gaining industry contacts within Norfolk and beyond. Soon I felt comfortable enough to begin photographing small events and doing commissions for local businesses.
I then began to think about something I thought I would never have the chance of doing, University! Applying for University was probably the most nerving racking time of my life closely followed by the interview! I just knew this was my path and I had to everything in my power that to make it happen, thankfully I left the interview that day completely gobsmacked with an unconditional offer to study a BA (HONS) Degree in Photography at Norwich University of the Arts.
After finishing my Photography Degree at Norwich University of the Arts, I completed my first full wedding season as a ‘main shooter’ and have been in love with capturing beautiful wedding photography ever since! Photography has been my life and passion for the last 10 years, and I wouldn't change it for anything. I also work in both the commercial photographic world and the wedding industry; as well as part-time for Nikon. This means I am fully immersed in the world of photography!

“Nikkala captured our day perfectly and was amazing to work with. She has helped us to remember parts of our day that we didn't get to see. Nikkala captured really natural photographs and several of our friends have said they are the best photos they have seen (even over their own wedding photos). Her knowledge of sunset, blue photos etc was amazing and one our favourite photos was one taken in the evening at sunset. Would recommend her to anyone without any reservation.
