qualifications
BA (HONS) in photography
After completing my ND in Graphic Design at Norwich City College I choose to go down the university route to explore the world of photography more. I was lucky enough to be awarded an unconditional offer after my interview with NUA in 2012. I then spent 4 years studying and networking at the Norwich University of the Arts where I gained a BA (HONS) in Photography meeting some of the world's leading photographers in a variety of fields. It's during this time that I began working as a second shooter working alongside other wedding photographers in the UK, gaining the experience I needed of the wedding industry. Working with these professional photographers is ultimately the reason I fell in love with capturing wedding photography because I was able to learn and enjoy each wedding I attended.
After I graduated university I went straight into photographing my first full year as a wedding photographer in Norfolk. I am incredibly grateful for the time I got to spend at NUA and all the advice and support that went into getting me to where I am today. A full-time multi-award-winning professional wedding photographer capturing wedding photography in Norfolk and throughout the UK and beyond.
AWARDS
When I began my career as a Photographer I'll admit I had ambitions but never in a million years did I expect my journey as a wedding photographer to get me to where it is today. I am elated and incredibly grateful for every award that I have won for my wedding photography. Since graduating university I have spent the past 10 years building my brand awareness and concentrating on developing my skills and style as a photographer. Like all creatives, there is always room to explore and experiment within your chosen craft and strongly believe the pursuit to develop your work and broaden your knowledge of your chosen vocation is highly important in progressing as an artist. In 2019 I was delighted to win my first ever award for my wedding photography where I was chosen as "The Most Outstanding Wedding Photographer in Norfolk" by Lux Life Magazine later that same year I was over the moon to find out that I had been awarded an Honors of Excellence Silver Award by the WPE, the International Photographers Awards for my image of Francis and Melissa dancing under the fireworks at their wedding at Lenwade House in Norwich back in 2018. I had thoroughly enjoyed capturing their big day and what a way to send the 2019 year out with a bang! 2020 began on one hell of a high! Gaining another award from the DWHA Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Abroad Magazine, being included in their Top 100 Wedding photographers in the United Kingdom. Soon after I found out that I had been nominated for The Global Wedding Awards and was invited to participate which I was more than delighted to do, it was a few months later that I found out that I won The East of England's Wedding Photographer of the Year 2020. It has been an incredibly rewarding few years which have made a huge difference not only in my self-confidence in my business as a wedding photographer but my confidence as a whole. I am so grateful all of my hard work is starting to pay off. I cannot wait to see where my future couples take me, the beautiful weddings I will get to capture and the moments I will record for a lifetime.
